I was so delighted when one of the high school seniors asked me to do her senior portraits. This was not something I had done before but was really excited about the idea. We went out on two separate occasions for these pictures. The first was an evening right after the sun had dipped below the horizon so we sill had light but not really any direct sunlight. The second time we went out it was freezing cold, windy, and very overcast day. Oftentimes I prefer an overcast sky if shooting at midday because then I don't have to worry about such harsh shadows. But, cold and windy made for an interesting time.

Brianna was so amazing to work with and is so photogenic! She was so willing and didn't seem camera shy at all. She was also full of good ideas. Oh I wish all of my clients could possess her enthusiasm and patience. I learned, again, that there is such a fine art to posing adult women and making them look attractive, relaxed, and natural. Clearly I need to study such techniques a bit more. But, here are a few pictures from our time together. Thanks so much for giving me this opportunity, Brianna. I couldn't think of anyone better to have done a session with! I also wish you good luck as you finish your Senior year and begin your college years.
